// senior_software_engineer
I take the whole web project. One neck to wring.
Sergey Sadon, Senior Software Engineer, a remote developer since 2010, 16 years now. PHP/Laravel on the backend, a Next.js frontend on top, and it is one system. Half the jobs are someone else's project where nobody dares touch the code anymore.

// vibe_coding
Vibe coding: yes. Vibe deploying: no.
I write with AI agents every day. But I'm accountable for your product, not the model: architecture, review and tests never leave my hands. If your AI-generated prototype only works in the demo, bring it: I'll take it to production, no rewrite from scratch.
Bring the prototypeWhat I do
I design it, write it, ship it, and watch what I shipped. No case studies or client logos here: everything is under NDA.

End-to-end web projects
I design the PHP/Laravel backend and the Next.js frontend as one system instead of stitching together two halves from two vendors. Schema, API, interface and deployment on one person.
- S-02
Backend on Laravel
The server side alone, when another team owns the frontend: REST and GraphQL APIs, business logic, migrations, queues. Delivered with documentation, not with "go ask the guy who left".
- S-03
Integrations
I wire payment gateways, ERP and CRM, marketplaces and catalogs into Laravel. Exchanges are idempotent, retried and logged: the partner goes down, your data stays intact.
- S-04
Legacy refactoring
I move legacy PHP and older Laravel onto a current stack in increments without stopping the service, data migrated on the live system.
- S-05
Performance
Profiling first, conclusions second. Indexes, caching, heavy work into queues, search on Elasticsearch — cheaper than "let's just add servers".
- S-06
Code audit and consulting
Code review with the author: I say plainly what is wrong with the code. Also architecture audits, estimates and bottleneck hunting.
Stack
Only what runs on live projects. I don't pad a résumé with technologies.
